COLOGNE, Germany -- Universal Music in Germany has signed a deal with broadcaster RTL to put music videos up on RTL's user-generated Web platform Clipfish.de.
The deal will include several thousand clips, among them videos from German pop sensation Tokio Hotel as well ones from such top Universal artists as U2, Metallica and Nelly Furtado.
The move follows a similar deal between Warner Music and MyVideo, the user-generated site owned by RTL competitor ProSiebenSat.1, and dovetails with a general trend toward more professionally produced content on user-generated sites.
En résumé, après Warner qui a signé un deal avec ProSieben/Sat.1 via la plateforme MyVideo.de, Universal a signé un deal avec RTL via la plateforme Clipfish.de.
Il y aura plusieurs centaines de vidéos clips de la maison de disque disponibles sur Clipfish.de dont Tokio Hotel, U2, Metallica et Nelly Furtado.
